Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs how you may use Upsurra. It exists to keep Upsurra what it is built to be: a tool for creators to grow from content they own.

What Upsurra is for

Upsurra is an all-in-one growth platform for creators. It helps you clip your own streams, publish to your own accounts, schedule and manage your content, track your analytics and sponsorships, and grow your audience — all from content you own and accounts you control, on your own computer.

Your content, your rights

You may use Upsurra only with content that you own or have the explicit rights and consent to use. By using Upsurra, you confirm you hold those rights for everything you process.

Prohibited uses

You must not use Upsurra to:

• Record, capture, download, or process another broadcaster's or person's stream or content without their explicit consent and the legal right to do so.
• Capture content from accounts, channels, or sources you do not own or control.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Create, distribute, or promote unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.

Safeguards we build in

• First-party by design. Upsurra works with your own recordings and your own connected accounts. It is not built to capture or download other people's live streams.
• Scoped connections. Any platform connection is limited to your own authenticated account and your own broadcasts.
• Local-first. Processing happens on your own machine — there is no central Upsurra service that captures third-party content on your behalf.
• Rights attestation. Accepting our Terms is your confirmation that you own or have consent for the content you process.
• Enforcement. We may suspend or terminate your licence for any violation of this policy, without refund, and cooperate with lawful requests.

Reporting misuse

If you believe someone is misusing Upsurra, or using it with your content without your consent, contact us at support@upsurra.com and we will act.
