This Privacy Policy explains what information Upsurra ("we", "us") collects and how we use it. Upsurra is built local-first: the videos you process stay on your own computer.

1. Your videos never leave your device

Upsurra processes your recordings, clips, and footage entirely on your own machine. We do not upload, store, or have any access to your video or audio content.

2. Information we collect

• Waitlist / contact: if you join our waitlist or email us, we collect your email address to reply and send updates.
• Purchases: payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the information needed to process your payment and issue your licence. We receive limited transaction data (such as your email and a purchase record) to deliver and support your licence. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• Website hosting: our site is hosted by Netlify, which may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation.

3. Your licence

Your licence key is stored locally on your device and verified offline. Using Upsurra does not transmit your footage or usage back to us.

4. How we use your information

To deliver your licence, provide support, and send important updates about your purchase. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing

We share information only with the providers that make Upsurra work (Paddle for payments, and our hosting/email providers) and where required by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@upsurra.com.
